AI + Ultra-HD: The Ultimate AI Optical Sorter for Wet Processed Meat Lines

A Meat X-ray machine is an essential tool for modern meat processing facilities aiming to ensure product safety and consistency. Unlike traditional metal detectors, a Meat X-ray machine can identify a wide range of contaminants, including metal fragments, bone chips, glass, stones, and dense plastic pieces, which may accidentally enter the production line. This technology works by scanning the product with low-dose X-rays and analyzing the density differences within the meat. When a foreign object is detected, the system automatically rejects the contaminated product, preventing costly recalls and protecting consumer health. Beyond contamination detection, a Meat X-ray machine also performs in-line quality checks, such as verifying portion weight, counting pieces in a package, and checking for missing items or broken products. For example, in a poultry processing line, the machine can confirm that each tray contains the correct number of drumsticks and that no bone fragments are present. This dual functionality reduces manual inspection labor and increases throughput. Additionally, modern Meat X-ray machines are designed to handle high-speed production environments, with conveyor speeds exceeding 100 meters per minute. They also feature user-friendly interfaces, allowing operators to adjust sensitivity settings for different meat types, such as fresh, frozen, or marinated products. Compliance with food safety standards like HACCP and BRC is simplified, as the machine generates detailed inspection logs and reports. By investing in a Meat X-ray machine, processors not only minimize liability but also enhance brand reputation through consistent product quality. Whether you are dealing with beef, pork, lamb, or poultry, this technology ensures that every package leaving your facility meets the highest safety and integrity standards.

Head ButcherThis Meat x-ray machine is a game-changer for our shop. We used to rely on visual checks and feel for bone fragments, but now we catch everything before it leaves the counter. It's cut down on customer complaints drastically. The interface is simple enough for my new hires to use after a 10-minute demo. Only wish the conveyor belt was a bit wider for larger primal cuts.

Quality Assurance SupervisorWe installed this inline at our poultry processing facility. It handles the line speed well and detects contaminants that our old metal detector missed. The software logs are detailed, which helps with our HACCP paperwork. Took a bit of tweaking to reduce false positives on thicker bone-in thighs, but their support team was responsive. Solid investment for food safety.

Owner / OperatorBought this for my small-batch jerky and sausage operation. Honestly, I was worried about the price tag for a small business, but it's paid for itself in peace of mind. I can now sell to local schools and hospitals who require x-ray inspection. The machine is rugged, easy to clean at the end of the day, and the image clarity is amazing for the footprint.

Maintenance TechnicianWorks great when it's running, but I'm the one who has to fix it when it goes down. Had a belt alignment issue after three months that caused some jams. The diagnostic codes are helpful, but getting replacement parts took over a week. For the volume we push (ground beef lines), it could be a bit more robust. When it's calibrated right, the detection is top-notch though.
